How to take the photo
For the best rough estimate, include these three details in the image.

Place a 12-inch ruler or tape measure flat on the countertop so the AI has a scale reference.

Show the surface
Try to include the full countertop shape, including corners, islands, peninsulas, and cutouts.

Keep it straight
Avoid extreme angles. A straighter photo makes the rough estimate more useful.
